JBG in Roma, Italia

In 2014 JBG had an exhibit in the heart of his beloved Roma, Piazza del Popolo at the Church of Santa Maria. This banner hung above the entrance to the gallery and welcomed Romans and tourists to a feast of Giuliani icons. It was a special moment in time for him and those who assisted him in this big adventure.

Palio di Siena 2001

From the author Diego Consales

The book is finished and i had the great honor to present it in the same place of the presentation of the palio/drappellone!! With the Mayor of Siena and all the people. Like a painter!

I send you the image of the cover and the page that introduce the pages dedicated to Fr.John.

The name of the book (in latin) is: IN HOC PALIO VINCES

In the future i have this project: to write a little book about the strange john-experience at the palio and my chase to speak with him after 20 years.

Best,

San Juan Diego – Newly discovered

Image

“My son, I love you. I desire you to know who I am. I am the ever-Virgin Mary; Mother of the true God who gives life and maintains it’s existence. He created all things. He is in all places. He is Lord of Heaven and Earth and I desire a church in the place where your people may experience my compassion. All those who sincerely ask for my help in their work and in their sorrows will know their mother’s near in this place. Here I will see their fears and I will console men and they will be at peace.”

-Our Lady’s words to San Juan Diego on 9-December-1531This painting was discovered at the St. Juan Diego Chapel in the mission church of San Xavier del Bac near Tuscon , Arizona. It was commissioned by Mary Escandon, SFO and the St. Anthony Fraternity Secular Franciscan Order, June 9 2012.
